During the first Water Innovation Festival, Kaumera won the Water Innovation Award 2019 in the Clean Water category.
This award is given to projects that excel in innovation and innovative cooperation. The jury called Kaumera 'an excellent example of cooperation' and 'a gem'.
The prize is awarded by the Union of Water Authorities and the Waterschapsbank.
No fewer than 107 projects in the categories Digital Transformation, Clean Water, Sufficient Water and Flood Risk Management were submitted for the Water Innovation Prize.
