Kaumera possesses a unique property: it absorbs water in moist conditions and makes it available when the soil dries out. After about a year, the product will degrade naturally through biological processes in the soil.

With changing climate conditions, we are increasingly seeing drought damage to turf on embankments. Earlier, it has been studied that Kaumera can retain moisture well in the soil. This makes the topsoil more stable.

A CE mark from the European Fertiliser Regulation gives certainty and confidence to customers to work with Kaumera. We therefore commission scientific and practical research to validate Kaumera's effect on various crop groups.

N-xt Fertilizers and Loonbedrijf Ten Hove team up with Kaumera for more sustainable agriculture. An experiment began in 2022 where N-xt Fertilizers and Loonbedrijf Ten Hove joined forces with Kaumera. In 2023, these test will be expanded.
