The Vallei en Veluwe Water Authority provides safe dikes, clean and sufficient surface water and purified wastewater in the area between the IJssel, Lower Rhine, Utrechtse Heuvelrug and Randmeren.
Together with all the water authorities, we focus on the reuse of raw materials from waste water and the production of energy from sun, wind and water.
We see Kaumera Nereda® Gum as a potential raw material that can make a major contribution to our goal of full circularity by 2050. Together with our partners, we are therefore fully committed to research, production and sales of Kaumera.
At the Epe sewage treatment plant, we intend to build a Kaumera extraction installation to investigate the best way to extract the raw material from the communal sludge.
